Air conditioning didn't cool room down
Very neat room, large TV. Made a mistake with my booking and staff were super helpful! Checked in late so didnt see the other facilities!

My husband and I traveled from Byron Bay to Melbourne and back again, and this motel was the best we stayed at (budget range). We are not too fussy, but basics comforts were missing from many motel rooms. Particularly distressing was the overwhelming smell of caustic cleaning products. Castle Creek smelled normal, had a tv that fully worked, including subtitles (I like to watch late while my husband sleeps), quiet air-conditioner/heater, efficient shower, quiet - no traffic noise. Clean attractive room and friendly relaxed concierge.
Great host. Very reasonable rates. Excellent shower. Good air conditioning. Comfortable bed. Enjoying my stay.
