A few years back we randomly stopped here for lunch. Had an amazing bar meal of burger and chips. Always planned to return, and were recently talking about making it a regular stop on our way through.Yesterday we did return to find the pub has had some really nice renovations.Expecting to be able to grab a bar meal I was told I could only order from the bistro menu on the weekend. So we decided if paying bistro prices we will use the bistro.The lady who took our orders was about as welcoming and friendly as a night club bouncer.As our (tower) burgers were being brought to our table we got pretty excited, until we got a closer look."PROCESSED BURGER PATTIES"!!!Are you kidding me?A country pub that has a chef in the kitchen, can't do a fresh hand made Pattie? Or is too lazy? Or do you buy these patties cheap? It ruined what could have been a 5 star burger!Cafes, take away shops and even local football clubs serve hand made burgers.What a total insult!I prefer the old decor, with friendly service and good food.Definately won't be back!

Typical pub grub but they actually have Nasi Goreng! Haha pretty cool. We had the Parma and prawns with cream cheese on rice which was really good but a little rich. The Parma was a lil dry, could do with a bit more sauce. Waitress was not so friendly. Was told to get me water from the bar myself in a not so friendly manner. The others were ok. It's steak nights on Wednesdays and Parma Thursday's for about $15. Definitely worth the try. Over all 6/10
Great country pub, cold beer, great food and weekly specials like $14 Parma nights on Thursdays, but get in quickly as it is very busy.
